Stump Face

After admiring the brown walnut tree remnant for years Thomas Haney sculpted a mixed media face in the opening.  Her hair blends with the grain of the wood as it frames her.  This medium sized table or wall hung sculpture remains as unique as the tree that inspired it.  Stump Face is 29”x11”x12” with an acrylic finish.
